A series of small updates
As you may or may not have noticed, there have been a number of small improvements made to the boards (you may have to refresh if you're not seeing them yet).

Here is a summary of the new features:
  • You can now use some BBCode and basic formatting in your About Me section; long sections are cropped and scrollable. This change was implemented to combat the wall of text syndrome going on, and also to just make things a lot nicer (especially if you want a place to put your characters or whatnot). Note that you cannot use images or media links.
  • The profile now has a new layout for small, narrow screens in portrait mode, which should be supported on all recent-ish devices with adequate web standards support.
  • You can now insert tabs and indent blocks of text to make it easier to format your writeups:
    Code:
[tab]This text has [tab] spaces in it.
This text has spaces in it.

    Code:
[indent]This section of text is indented,
    across several lines.[/indent]
This section of text is indented,
    across several lines.

Note that tab spacing is width-dependent and not absolute as to not waste space on smaller devices while allowing a decent indent on wider screens; so don't attempt to use it for ASCII Art.
  • All the information of the board feature summary (and then some) is now additionally available in the board's help section as well, rendering it not totally useless. #not that anyone will ever read it #you're welcome

Enjoy!
