tbh, as is on par from where i live, i end up calling Day-a, i have however commonly herd it called Da-a, as we tend to cut off t's in the middle of words

It depends on what I'm talking about. :P But ye. dah-ta, I grew up with someone who has to annunciate his words very carefully (english accent, people in the midwest don't comprehend words).
