Chris: Inspect the area.

You inspect your surroundings. The coast seems to be clear considering
your MOM and DAD left a while ago for some LAST MINUTE SHOPPING and
won’t be back for a couple of hours. So it is just you STUCK AT HOME
with all these unattended Christmas presents scattered on the ground.
But it’s not like you’re going to unwrap them and make a HUGE MESS or
anything being the respectful young lad you wereraised to be.

Chris: Examine the dubious white box and make sure your book isn’t in there.

You approach the DUBIOUS WHITE BOX and sure enough, there's still NO
SIGN of your book anywhere. God, that thing surely knows how to start
a STICKY CONUNDRUM. For the first time ever, you wish your parents
were home so you could ask them about the BOOK, which for convenience
is entitled ~ATH. It has been merely A YEAR since you acquired it as
a BIRTHDAY PRESENT last year from your best friend. You must learn to
be more careful with your belongings, young man!

Chris: Admire the White Box with Green House Logo.

This surely peeked your interest from afar. Your mind raced with
questions as to why would such a BORING LOOKING BOX be doing amidst
all the other CHEESY RED ONES. Just then, you recognise the GREEN
LOGO emblemed on the side of the box. It’s the GAME! It arrived
earlier than expected! You mentally high-five yourself as you scurry
over towards the package. You opt to take a closer look at the white
box and come to the realisation that it doesn’t feature neither your
name nor your address anywhere. Perhaps someone PAINTED it off as a
sick prank or maybe it was SCRATCHED off, either way you have no idea
and you’re not complaining. There is however a STICKY NOTE glued to
it; it is from none other than your DAD.

That note almost made you shed a tear, if only you were sensitive enough.
Your DAD was right, you were a now almost an adult with
responsibilities to take care of; and play the GAME was surely one of
them. Now the real fun was getting started, you could practically
foresee the hours of fun you were going to have with this.

Chris: Inspect stockings.

You approach the festive stockings hanging just above the cozy fireplace.
Every year, your MOM always makes sure that each member of the family
has their own stocking set up; one for DAD, one for MOM, and last but
not least YOU. The stockings appear to be in the right place, NOTHING
UNUSUAL about them. They are merely HANDCRAFTED MOUNDS OF YARN fit to
do their job once a year and spend most of the year hibernating in a
box shoved somewhere in the basement. Truthfully speaking, you
sometimes wish you were one so you wouldn’t have to engage in social
situations or get up every morning to be productive. Wishful thinking
aside, you frown to yourself pondering why did you waste time on these
TRIVIAL and PERFECTLY ORDINARY holiday ornaments.

Chris: Dash to your room and boot up the game.

You CAPTCHALOGUE the box before hastily making your way back to your
den and instantly log onto your computer and insert the game disk.
But hold on there young man, first you need to OPEN THE PACKAGE and
RETRIEVE SUCH OBJECT! Why the unnecessary rush? The game is not going
anywhere you know.

Ahh much better.

You INSERT THE DISK and wait for it to load. Oddly enough, it appears
to be quite GLITCHY and you have no idea if this is intended or not.
Regardless, you can already feel the EXCITEMENT rushing through your
blood. While you’re waiting for it to fully load, you hear a casual
beeping noise emanate from your computer notifying you of an INCOMING
TEXT from your messaging client PESTERCHUM.

It appears one of your dear chums is trying to contact you.
